Self-esteem is all about how we think about ourselves and value ourselves. It drives the decisions and choices we make, which in turn influence how we live our lives. This means that self-esteem can determine how successful we are, the quality of our relationships and our academic and career achievements. Left unchecked, it can lead to depression, anxiety, and several other medical conditions.
