Professional Toolbox
Yvonne Newbold is highly regarded by many professionals as an expert with lived experience. She has spent many years working to improve understanding and the relationships between children and young people with SEND VCB, their families and the professionals that work with them.
Whilst raising her own children with SEND, Yvonne found that there was often a huge disparity between the knowledge and skills of parent/carers and the professionals working with them.
To address this, Yvonne has created the Professional Toolbox, which is regularly updated with information and resources that help to maintain supportive, respectful and effective working relationships.
